Kami Mark List

Your Himalayan Imports Khukuri comes imprinted with various  markings. Either close to the Spine near the curve of the Blade or On the ricasso on the right side of the Blade there will be the Devanagari initials for HI.

And/Or on the Ricasso on the right side there may be a Star with 4 double rays.

These designate your khukuri as made by Himalayan Imports

Also on the Right side near the Sword of Shiva near the ricasso you may find the English Letters "UB". Since Uncle Bill Martino's passing in 2005 all khukuri have been marked this way in his honor.

On the Left Side Ricasso of your khukuri you will find the initials and the (mark) symbol of the Kami who made your knife.


(As some marks have been reused and some marks may be similar, particular attention should be paid to the Kamis initials, as this may help in discerning the mark)
